Trip to Donnelly

Brent and I spent four days in Donnelly with Jaime, Mike, Hannah and Gavin. We left on Sat., Dec. 20th and stayed until Tuesday, Dec. 23rd. It was great to be there. We stopped and ate at the Little Firefly on Saturday since Mike and Jaime were at Jason and Lisa's for the Barfuss Christmas party. The BLT's on sour dough were wonderful. Hannah ran and hugged me when we arrived at their home.
While we were there we went to church on Sunday, watched a movie, "The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe II", made toffee, delivered goody plates to their friends, went to McCall to give Jaime a tour of the town (since she is always too busy to do that) and just kicked around enjoying each other. Brent helped Jaime get the microwave set up and put in a new shower head.
It was fun to be around the kids. What sweethearts they are. Mike is very bored having to stay in bed. He and Brent visited quite a bit. He still stays cheerful and happy though. We also shared Christmas presents. Hannah really had fun doing that. She wanted to open up her other gifts and kept asking over and over. I'll bet Jaime was relieved when Christmas finally came so Hannah could open them up!!
It was also fun to spend time with Lori and Ernie. They are great friends and I'm glad they are helping Mike and Jaime out so much.
